Can vegetarians eat eggs and cheese and drink milk?
Im planning on becoming one. Is this rule only for vegans? Are vegetarians able to eat this stuff?

- I think it depends on your reason for becoming one. For religion purposes, I believe there is no egg, or garlic, or potato, or any spice. For the purpose of no meat, that's entirely up to you.
- Vegan is a type of vegetarian that doesn't eat or otherwise consume any animal product including meat, dairy, egg, leather, suede, wool, etc. Ovo-lacto vegetarians eat dairy and eggs. Lacto vegetarians eat dairy but not eggs. Ovo vegetarians eat eggs but not dairy.
- yes, vegiatirans can eat anything but meat. vegans on the other hand, can not eat anything that comes from an animal. also it depends on what kind of vegitarian/ vegan you are.
- no! you cannot cause it come from an animal. PAULITO4EVER
- Vegetarians don't eat only meat. Vegans don't eat anything from animals. I think, I'm nothing from this
- Yes, vegetarians can eat dairy and eggs if they choose to. Ovo-lacto vegetarians alllow eggs and dairy in their diet. Ovo- and lacto- vegetarians allow one but not the other. Vegans can't eat either, or anything on this list: http://www.vegfamily.com/lists/animal-ingredients.htm Both diets can be healthy, just just have to make sure you know what you're doing and/or you're planning it well. Best of luck! : )
- Maybe it depends why you're becoming a vegetarian. I call myself a vegetarian but I eat chicken and turkey and things made with eggs or milk or cheese. I don't drink regular milk though. I'm weird like that. :D
- I'm a vegetarian.. For 10 years and I'm only 15. Ha but anywho, My type of vegetarian is called (lacto-ovo vegetarian) Which means I can eat eggs, cheese, and milk but I dont eat them plain.. I just cant but it means you can have them like in a cake or something. Their isnt a certain "rule" that says what to eat. Its what YOU choose to eat and how YOU feel about what to eat. And some vegetarians eat fish (mysister) but I dont.. I still believe its an animal but my sister doesnt. See? Everyone does what they feel is right. Hope I helped!!!!!
- Vegetarians don't eat animal flesh, so they can eat eggs and dairy if they want to. there are some who don't eat eggs, some don't eat dairy, but it's up to the individual vegetarian.
- yes if you want to i would recommend cheese with no added growth hormones and silk soy milk
- of course you can eat meat as a vegetarian as long as you pray to god that he wont smite you for killing his favorite moose
