What are some tasty vegetarian Chinese food options?
I'm kind of on a vegetarian kick and was wondering what a tasty vegetarian option is for chinese food. Normally I order General Tso's chicken or Orange Beef. I really am not a big soy sauce fan so anything heavy on that taste is not a great fit. Thanks for any advice.

- Ma Po Tofu, Eggplant in Black Bean sauce, Stir Fried Broccoli with Oyster sauce, Veg Egg Foo Yung, Veggie Chow mein or Chop Suey the same way, here in Toronto Canada, I go to the real style authentic Chinese places in town (we have 3 areas with them) and I love any kind of tofu, either pot braised with mushrooms or in the 7 Treasure Delight dishes. Most places have a wide range of dishes, and even a fried rice with veg only, regional dishes to and if your in a large city in the U.S or Canada and can get the non americanized S&S type foods in an authentic place, then you have many choices.
- Buddha's Delight Sir-Fried Tofu (or Bean Curd) Vegetable Dumplings Egg Foo Young (w/ no meat)
- In China, almost every state (Province) has it own foods. So, In China, there so called Sichuan Cuisine, Shanghai Cuisine, Beijing Cuisine . Maybe you want a advanced advice. There are some useful links.
