- sure/
- YES BUT FIRST U WANT TO BLANCH THEM... BOIL SOME WATER AND LET THEM SIT IN THE ALREADY BOILED WATER FOR ABOUT 3 MINS THEN PLACE THEM IN COLD WATER FOR ABOUT 2 MINS OR SO (SOME PPL USE ICE WATER BUT COLD IS FINE) THIS WAY THEY WILL KEEP THERE FRESHNESS AND LAST LONGER WITHOUT TASTING NASTY... I ALWAYS ADD A TOUCH OF SEA SALT TO THE WATER FIRST WHILE ITS BOILING.
- Sure but it depends on which ones. If you mean tomatoes, yes, but they will break down. If you mean carrots, yes, but they break down some. If you mean bell peppers...yes, but they break down alot. Just be aware that no matter what you freeze you'll end up with what comes in those frightful bags in your grocer's freazer.
- Yes, but you must be careful, otherwise they'll turn to mush. Put them in the refrigerator for a few hours first. Then, freeze them with DRY ICE.
- yeah
- Yes.. You can definately freeze fresh vegetables. If you can, you can vacuum seal the vegetables in one of those sealers (they have them at Bed Bath and Beyond), which would help prevent freezer burn if you are leaving them in for a while..
- Yea, of course you can.
- Sure some of them have to be blanched first ,that is put them in boiling water for three minuets ,drain them and rinse them in cold water to cool .

- Yes. Just blanch them, which means putting them in a pot of boiling water for a couple minutes, let them cool, and put them in a freezer bag. Label and date the bag.
- absoutely, but the ways are different for different veggies. to freeze green beans, simply dump them into boiling water for 30 secs, drain, and immediatly put into ice water. You will have to drain them on a towel, and then pack in freezer bags.(this is the same for brocolli, peas or cauliflower Peppers can be just diced up, and frozen on cookie sheets, and stored once they are frozen. Tomatoes have to be peeled, but there isn't anything special after that...they are good for sauces (you can remove the seeds or not)..You cannot freeze cukes, or lettuce. Zuchinni can be done by just grinding the pulp and storing in bags after draining.. good for making bread. Hope this helps
- CHECK THIS IT CAN HELP http://www.ext.colostate.edu/Pubs/foodnut/09330.html
- yes. but there is a little work u need to do first though. like blanching them for like 2 mins or 3 and stick them in a ice bath to stop the cooking. then u can freeze them!
