Any good Pie crust recipes using butter or vegetable oil instead of shortening?
I just picked a bushel of apples and want to make some pies but I just realized I'm out of solid (Crisco) shortening. Does anyone have any tried & delicious pie crust recipes using real butter or canola oil?

- 1/2 cup cream cheese 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup butter DIRECTIONS: Soften cream cheese and butter and mix together adding and mixing flour a little at a time. Roll out with a rolling pin between 2 wax papers. Transfer to a 9-inch pie plate and prick with fork before half-baking to prevent shrinkage. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees Good Luck~! This is the only one I use for apple pie! It's great!
- Cup of flour, cup of shortening, a little butter, salt, and kneed add some of each as needed. Then roll out on a flat surface. Lay over a pie tin, and press in accordingly fill, bake, and cut and add ice cream and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhh. yummy.
- You can substitute exact measurements of butter for other fats, but remeber if it is table butter it already has salt added to it. You can also make a crust with oil, but it is much harder to get a flaky crust with oil.
