Vegetarians!?
This is a serious question, not a joke ... How do you do it? Do you not find it hard when you pass a fast food shop or something? Are you ever tempted and have you ever eaten a peice of meat after deciding you were a vegetarian? When did you decide to become a vegetarian and what made you want to be one?

- How do you do it? its quite easy, there are always substitutes. Do you not find it hard when you pass a fast food shop or something? NO, i could always find something vegetarian and I rarely eat out. Are you ever tempted and have you ever eaten a peice of meat after deciding you were a vegetarian? No, i am repulsed by the smell of meat. When did you decide to become a vegetarian and what made you want to be one? i decided to become vegetarian when i was 16 for many reasons. mostly because i didn't see the point in eating meat.
- 1. I do it. 2. I do not feel tempted when I pass a Fast Food Shop. 3. I have been a vegetarian since I was born/ I wanted to be one because I did not want to eat dead body's.
- Its easy I never feel tempted, i feel that meat is gross peta made me want to be one even though i dont like them now.
- For me, the decision was easy. I became a member of PETA last year because I have a great love for animals. PETA sends out a great little journal/magazine every month and the horror stories in their are enough to piss you off, make sad, and swear never to eat meat. I highly suggest you read some of the articles on the PETA website, even if you don't choose to become a vegetarian at least you will know the horrors of slaughterhouses and animal experimenting. It is also a healthier lifestyle because you are so unaware of what factory farms inject into their livestock in order to make them grow faster. Did you know they inject small amounts of arsenic in chickens? Obviously we all know arsenic is a POISON! Just read the articles for yourself and you will understand my decision.
- I think vegetarianism is like quitting something you consider a vice. When you are forcing it upon yourself or it's being forced on you, it can be difficult to stay the course. But if you truly wish to drop that vice, it can be a breeze.
- How do you do it?... One day at a time. Do you not find it hard when you pass a fast food shop or something?... Not anymore. When I first started, I was used to eating fast food a lot, but when I did want fast food, I just chose veggie-friendly stuff like Subway's veggie delight, Taco Bell's bean burritos, or pizza with veggie toppings. Honestly, if you go long enough without eating greasy food, you don't want it anymore, and it tastes "off". Are you ever tempted and have you ever eaten a piece of meat after deciding you were a vegetarian?... No, I never ate meat again after deciding to become a vegetarian. The first few days were tough, but if I felt like I wanted meat, I would go to the store and get the fake stuff. I used the "mock meats" like Morningstar chick'n nuggets and Boca veggie burgers. Now I don't even use the fake stuff much, I just like sticking to "real" veggie food. When did you decide to become a vegetarian and what made you want to be one?... I became a vegetarian about six or seven months ago (I lose track). I decided to make the switch when I donated blood and the blood bank told me my cholesterol was over 300 (the maximum it should be is 200). I started doing research, and found out that cholesterol in food comes from animal products (meat, eggs, etc.). So I decided to limit my cholesterol intake by becoming a vegetarian. Within two months, my cholesterol levels were normal. Knowing that my health was at stake really helped me stay on track, because my family has a history of heart disease, and I didn't want that for myself.
- Actually it was easy becoming a vegatarian for me, yet when I became a vegan that was hard, almost evrything is non-vegan .
- ppz watch this video this is the reason most vegitarians dont give in and eat meat. also i warn u before u watch this get a box of tissues ( i am not kidding i bawled my eyes out ) hers the link:http://www.chooseveg.com/animal-cruelty.asp?gclid=CJLL75DD25ACFQINPAodMkRcWw
- I do it the same way you do it. You look at junkfood and think, "man, that is really bad for me, but I'm going to eat it anyway. because I tastes so good. because it uses oil, sugar, salt and it has been designed to cater to my most basic tendencies" Me, I don't eat it. You look at meat and say "I know that killing an animal and the blood, screaming, smell, etc. would just make me puke, but when it's packaged and cooked and seasoned and doesn't look anything like a dead animal anymore, I can eat it." Me, I just don't eat it. You say, "I know I could never kill an animal and rip it apart and eat it fresh, uncooked, not even a mouse, because I just am not naturally designed to do this... but once it has been killed by someone else, cleaned, cut up, processed, aged, tenderized, cooked, etc. It's okay... just a dumb animal... humans are superior... god says so... Everyone says so... may parents... my teachers... the TV... totally natural..." Me, I just don't eat it. I never decided to become a vegan -- I don't even like the word. What I was, and am, aiming for is to be a "natural human". It all started researching diet for athletics. Just turns out to be that the most natural diet is best for athletics, which is also good for my health, environment, animals, and so forth. It also led me to other topics such as natural birth, breastfeeding, midwifery, evils of vaccinations, gardening, animal welfare, and so forth.
