Vegetarians?
What is a good way for me to get the protein I need?? Do vegetarians eat eggs???

- Tofu, beans, nuts, seeds, etc. Protein deficiency really isn't as much of a problem with vegetarians as people assume it is. And yes, most vegetarians eat both eggs and dairy products. It's vegans that don't.

- Not all vegetarians eat eggs, as there are many different stages. the Most common are: Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians, which eat dairy products as well as eggs in relation to animal products; lacto-vegetarians, which consume dairy products in relation to animal product consumption; then there are vegans, who do not consume any animal products. soy products, legumes, nuts, beans, dark leafy greans like romaine lettuce, or even brocolli are all excellent ways of getting protein. You must also becareful of iron defiency, which could lead to anemia (thin blood). This is potentially dangerous, as it will lead to faintness, dizzyness, headaches, and if in an accident of some sort where lots of blood is lost, the doctor may ask you to eat meat. Usually whatever is rich in protein, will have iron. If you are still worried about protien and iron diffeciency, take specific supplements, or take a multi-vitamin pill, or both.

- Yes, vegetarians eat eggs. Vegans don't. Some foods you can eat are spinach, beans, nuts, fruits, vegetables, soy milk, healthy cereals(Stay away from the sugary ones. They're unhealthy and might have gelatin), tofu, and many of the food products that contain soy meat have protein in them.
- I don't eat eggs but I do eat plenty of dairy products, which provide protein. There are many legumes and beans that, when combined with grains, provide a complete protein. Soybeans have a lot of protein, and don't need to be combined with anything. Nuts have protein but also a fair amount of fat.
- Eat food. Ovo and lacto-ovo vegetarians eat eggs. vegans, lacto-vegetarians, and strict vegetarians do not.
