vegetarians?
is anyone a vegetarian, if so what kind of foods do you like to eat? everyone asks me how im a vegetarian, i mean its not that hard, you'd just have to want to be one to actually enjoy the things you eat. and actually vegetarians are VERY healthy. this was just a random question. and i wanted to know what everyone thinks about vegetarians in general;;; lol and yes i must add i do eat animals crackers, they are quite good. and thank you everyone for all your answers. they are greatly appreciated! vegetariands rule! I LOVE BOCA BURGERS, i actually had one earlier, haha

- I am a vegitarian and I am not healthy at all XD vegetables are gross, but meat is grosser. yucky! i eat a lot of potatoes, though I don't think they have any nutritional value I also eat a lot of candy and donuts. luckily I probably won't get fat til I'm 30
- Im not a veg. I always wanted to try it. but it only lasted for a day :( lol its very hard for me not to eat meat because I love it yum yum yum, but I greatly respect vegetarians. I think its beyond humanity to be able not to eat meat and be so much healthier and not give in to the savagery that people get into.

- I couldn't eat animals.. I just have got so used to not eating it.. I can't imagine eating a dead body that was living maybe a week earlier.. It just seems very unkarmaratic
- I am a vegetarian. I have born in a vegatarian family. Being a vegetarian became like a habit to me. I would like to eat Fruits, vegetables, Vegetarian Sandwiches, vegetable soups, basically any kind of vegetarain food.

- Unfortunately, I am not a vegetarian myself, but I do have a friend who is vegetarian. Most vegetarians are very healthy and though they are not getting the nutrition they need from meat, they get it from foods such as cheese, fruits and breads. It isn't too hard to become a vegetarian but ofcourse it is personal choice. I believe being a vegetarian is just as good as eating meat. However, I could never be a vegan. I mean, life without scrambled eggs? lol j/k. Anways, that's just my opinion! Thank you! =]
- Yes. Animal-friendly foods. Not all vegetarians are healthy. Just like not all omnivores are unhealthy.
- I am a vegetarian. I basically eat anything without meat. My favorite foods are pastas, pizza, etc. and all those are already not made with meat. I also like to try some ethnic dishes (like Indian food which has a lot of vegetarian options) sometimes. Plus there's meat substitutes like tofu and eggplant (which tastes like meat because of the texture).
- I'm vegan. What do I love to eat? It would be easier to list what I DON'T love to eat - meat and dairy and eggs. What DO I love to eat? I love to eat pasta, sauces, Indian food (minus the butter/ghee), jambalaya, tofu dishes, pad thai, chinese bean curd and stir fry dishes, dark chocolate, soy ice cream, potato chips, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, chili, guacamole, avocados, hummus and pita bread, falafel, tabbouleh, stuffed bell peppers (stuffed with rice and tempeh), squash, seasoned and baked potato wedges, etc. etc. I could go on into infinity. I think vegetarians can be healthy or unhealthy. Some people just eat junk food and those microwaveable Morning Star and Boca things, full of fat and sodium. Some vegetarians make their own food and exercise and take care of themselves. Much like the mainstream population, really. Vegetarians do have a reduced risk of cancer and heart disease, but nowadays I wonder about that because there are so many "fast food" vegetarians growing up (the new generation, with - as I said before - the ready-mate fake meat stuff that's really awful for you).
- Im not a complete veg. but I dont eat red meat. Or a lot of meat in general. I like soy products as a substutue and pasta and veg and fruit of course! I dont eat meat or much meat because its a personal choice. That's all anyone has to say. Of course I always add: It grosses me out! All those veins and fat. Blech!
- i don't label myself. i choose not to eat an abundance of animal products, though. i consume a healthy diet mostly of veggies and grains.
- I am vegetarian. My favourite foods are: spaghetti bolognese made with textured soy; spinach lasagna; vegan pizza.

- I've been a vegetarian for three years now. I eat a lot of soy products, and a lot of vegan cheeses. With fruits of course, and i'm healthier than ever! :)
