anyone have a good recipe for Mixed Vegetable Parrota?? 2 questions, all in one!? If anyone in the bay area has been to Saravanaa Bhavan, they'll know what's up! If you wouldn't mind sharing your own recipe, that'd be perfect. If not, a link to an online one will be awesome! Second; What's your favorite, or a good way to prepare it?? I suppose it'd be silly to buy the ingredients and not know how to make it!! If anyone can break it down for me =D Thank you =D

Fruit or vegetable recipes? I am trying to figure out how to make a really good fruit salad and something to make with vegetables. I don't want any sugar with the fruit or any salt with the vegetables. I also don't want to have to use the oven. The microwave is fine. I'm trying to make things for my boyfriend, so he will eat more healthy. He doesn't like a lot of the fruits with seeds, and he doesn't like vegetables too much but I am thinking if I mix them into a recipe, that he won't be able to tell. If someone could share their own recipes with me, or send me a website that would be wonderful! =] Oh, why the heck not. Send some recipes that use the oven. I'll have to get the hang of it someday. lol

How to thin out vegetable juice? My home-made vegetable juice comes out more like puree. I don't like the texture and would like, for example, if it came out more like V8 than Hunt's Tomato paste. Recipe for Belgian Salad with Ham and Asparagus and Medley of Mixed Vegetables? When I was a little girl, our family lived in Belgium while my father was stationed at Chievres Air Base. That was 40 years ago, but we still talk about the wonderful food. One dish that was served often, especially during wedding feasts, was a salad that included: * mixed salad greens including Belgian Endive * chilled asparagus wrapped in a thin slice of ham * a medley of mixed vegetables * topped with a creamy chilled sauce * sometimes the ham was replaced with lobster or other seafood Is there anybody out there in cyberspace familiar with this salad? Can anyone give me the proper recipe, or at least guide me in the right direction to find it? We would like to prepare this salad as a course for our Easter celebration and are not quite sure what types of vegetables were included with the medley, and ingredients for the sauce. By the way, this is in no way similar to the American version of Belgian Salad -- I have already seen several versions and they pale in comparison to the recipe I am searching for. Thank you!

The rice comes out brown from seasoning. I need the recipe for this dish. Any Thais out there who can break this down for me?

Juicing fruit & vegetable - what to do with the pulp?!? Hi everyone:) I recently got a juicer and have been juicing fruit & veges madly! But I always hate throwing away such a huge amount of dry pulp once everything has been juiced. I am wondering if there is some great recipe out there involving perhaps pastry or something, whereby you can use all these remains? I was thinking perhaps vegetable pasties, with some pastry and grated cheese mixed through for the veges, and perhaps some sort of muffin or cake with the fruit pulp? Any recipes or anything would be great! I am hoping there is somebody out there who has had the same thought as me and has come up with a creative way to use these scraps :) Thank you so much in advance!! Thanks a lot everyone!! Great suggestions :)
